What is Find a Supplier?
Find a Supplier is the new online suppliers guide available from AP Information Services, the award-winning publishers of The Personnel Manager’s Yearbook, The Training Manager’s Yearbook and The Marketing Manager’s Yearbook.
Find a Supplier: HR is the largest online source of HR suppliers currently available in the UK and Ireland and provides up-to-date information on more than 8,000 suppliers of HR and personnel products, services and consultancy.
Find a Supplier: Training is the largest online source of training suppliers currently available in the UK and provides up-to-date information on more than 4,000 suppliers of training products, services and consultancy.
Find a Supplier: Marketing is the largest online source of marketing suppliers currently available in the UK and provides up-to-date information on more than 5,000 suppliers of marketing products, services and consultancy.
What is Find a Course?
Find a Course is an additional service. This part of the site enables you to easily locate training courses in your chosen area of specialisation, and refine your selection by geographical area and industry sector.
Course listing details include name of organisation with full contact information, type of course, price, duration and start dates as well as a full description of the course content.
Do I need to subscribe to these services?
No subscription is necessary! Access to the website is completely free of charge. So if you are a Personnel, HR, Training or Marketing professional looking for details of specialist suppliers or training courses you’ll find them here!
How do I find suppliers?
Using our detailed selection page you can find suppliers by type or geographical region. Alternatively if you already know the name of the supplier you are looking for, you can select by company name.
Once you have chosen a type of supplier you can narrow your selection even further by choosing one or more area(s) of specialisation. In the same way having selected a region you may then narrow your search by specifying a postcode, town or city where you wish to find suppliers.
Once you are satisfied with all your selection criteria simply click on FIND and you will then be given a breakdown of your results. Each set of results links through to a list of companies that match your selection criteria. When you click on a company name, full company details such as address, phone, fax, website and contact names will appear on screen.
How do I find courses?
You can either make a selection by the subject area in which you are looking for a course from the dropdown menu or by keyword search. If you choose a subject area, you can then further refine your selection by geographical area to see the available courses listed on the site. If you would then like to see which providers run courses in your chosen industry sector, this option is available to you via a further dropdown selection. Keyword selections will show you a list of courses relevant to your chosen keyword on a results page, from which you may then browse the listings.
Courses are listed by title; clicking on the title of the course will display the full details such as address, phone, course description, dates, price and company website. Clicking on the website address will connect you with the organisation’s website directly.
How do I book a course?
In order to book a course, you will need to get in touch with the organisation running that course. Full contact details are included in the listings, and email and web addresses are full links, which will connect you straight to the company. Please let the organisation know that you found their course details using the Find a Course service.
How is the information on suppliers collected and how often is it updated?
All supplier records on Find a Supplier are taken from the suppliers listed in The Personnel Manager’s Yearbook, The Training Manager’s Yearbook or The Marketing Manager’s Yearbook, all published by AP Information Services. Although these business directories are published annually, changes are made to the database by our dedicated editorial team on a daily basis, inputting responses by suppliers to both postal questionnaires and tele-research. Any changes made to supplier details on AP Information Services database will therefore be reflected immediately on Find a Supplier. This process of constant research means Find Supplier is not only one of the largest online sources of specialist suppliers of HR, Personnel, Training and Marketing services in the UK but also the most up-to-date.
How is the information on the site collected and how often is it updated?
All listings on Find a Course are supplied by the organisations directly via electronic questionnaire. Additionally, full company entries including phone, fax, services offered and major clients can be found on Find a Supplier: Training by clicking on the link for Name of Organisation.
New courses are added as training organisations supply their details to us and the website is updated on a weekly basis.

What does
CTPS/TPS/FPS registered mean after certain numbers?
CTPS = Corporate Telephone Preference Service
TPS = Telephone Preference Service
FPS = Fax Preference Service
Our numbers are screened against the CTPS, TPS and FPS preference services lists regularly. Numbers that have been registered are indicated with an U symbol. These numbers cannot be contacted for sales and direct marketing calls.

How do I advertise my company/courses on the site?
Advertising on the site is available in three distinct formats; banner adverts at the top of pages, panel adverts that can appear on certain results pages throughout the site and Impact Entries where adviser companies are highlighted in bold on results lists and where their entries include a colour logo and a company profile. Their entries also appear at the top of any search lists. Most of the advertising on Find a Supplier has a corresponding enhanced listing in The Personnel Manager’s Yearbook, The Training Manager’s Yearbook or The Marketing Manager’s Yearbook.
Course listings can be added via online questionnaire for £10 a course (minimum of 5 courses). The link will be sent to you by one of our sales representatives.
